About Me

Hi, I’m Martin Skolarek, and welcome to WoodenMountain.com! This is my corner of the internet, where I share my thoughts, experiences, and insights on a variety of topics that matter to me, and hopefully, to you too.

By profession, I’m a personal fitness trainer, but I like to think of myself as far from your “average” one.

Fitness, to me, isn’t just about lifting weights or sticking to a treadmill routine. It’s about exploring the world, embracing movement, and finding joy in activities that challenge both body and mind.

That’s why I’m passionate about pursuits like bouldering, running, and other unconventional forms of exercise, which I often recommend to my clients and enjoy myself.

The Story Behind WoodenMountain.com

Why “Wooden Mountain”? Well, much like climbing a mountain, life is about setting goals, finding paths, and overcoming challenges.

WoodenMountain.com started as a way for me to document my journey and share insights, not just about fitness, but also about the mindset, habits, and adventures that inspire me every day.

My Philosophy

I believe in living a life of balance and curiosity.

Fitness is one piece of the puzzle, but there’s so much more to explore, nature, self-improvement, mental health, and the connections we build along the way.

My goal is to inspire others to embrace an active lifestyle that feels meaningful and sustainable while staying open to new ideas and experiences.
